Dinner at Sufood Restaurant

September 29, 2015 0 Comments

Last night my colleagues and I went to dinner at a meat-free vegan restaurant called SUFOOD located at Raffles City. It was my first time there.  Hailing from Taiwan, the restaurant serves up Italian inspired dishes with an Asian blend.  The first dish served for the night was the trio appetizer, explained by a staff that it should be eaten from left to right, in order to appreciate the different taste in flavors.  Shortly after our starters arrived. While my colleagues chose salads as their starter, I chose to have freshly cut fruits with strawberry yogurt. Nothing much to say about the fruits but the presentation of each dish that came to our table was nicely presented. Next was the soup dish, I had the pumpkin soup with small chunks of pumpkin inside, somehow it didn't really impress me cause I felt it was a little bland. Following which came the main dish, I had the Macaroni Alfredo Casserole which did remain me of lasagna. Filled and layered with pasta, mushroom, tomatoes, broccoli and lots of cheese, this dish was surprisingly yummy!! For dessert, I chose  Vanilla Ice-Cream with Chocolate Sauce and Coffee. I was told by the staff that in order to truly enjoy the ice-cream, pour the chocolate sauce onto the ice cream and the chocolate sauce magically becomes hard.

Overall the dinning experience was  great. I enjoyed myself not only by the company of my colleagues but also with the food I had.  Price range varies from $25++ for a full 8 course meal. Express set lunch at $18++ per person  & A la carte is also available at your preference. Reservation is a must.

My  ideal Sunday would be going to a café for a brunch or dinner,  ordering up some mouth watering food and spending quality time  with  friends while watching the world go by.   My post today is on a café themed like a mad science lab. Located at Jalan Pisang The LAB offers a variety of delicious cuisines and desserts. Its my first time exploring the café and I did like the cozy, scientist theme ambiance and friendly staff.
The LAB café is a go to spot for all café hoppers. A little note to keep in mind- arrive early to beat the queue.  For latest updates,  do check out their social media sites.

Graffiti Weekend

Today's outfit is my kind of style that I'll wear to school or thrown on a lazy dress up days.
I love the fact that you don't  have to put in so much effort and time into styling this outfit.
A tip I would recommend, is that in order for the entire look to stand out, get a shirt that gives out a pop of colour to the t-shirt you are going to pair it with and accessories the look by adding a statement necklace or some chunky arm candy.

Hope you like it and have a great week..

First Day of 2015

January 03, 2015 5 Comments

Hey dolls! My first day of the brand new year 2015 well spent with my dear friends.  We headed to the National Museum of Singapore to get some shots of the beautiful architecture and also for a mini photo shoot.  After having spent most of our afternoon in the museum, we decided to head for dessert at a café called Teddy and Me at Marina Square. The café is themed after the famous comical show Mr. Bean and its one of the must go cafes in Singapore. Its a little pricey but  has a variety of desserts to choose from.(just look at the pictures). With our stomachs filled with the yummy desserts, we went off to Gardens by the Bay to get a glimpse of the magnifying display of light sculptures. The entire place was so breathtaking and with the night sky in the background, what more can you ask..  I had an amazing time yesterday and with the company of my favourite girls I couldn't ask for more :) Here are some of the captured moments.

Share with me on how you spent your new year's day, would love to read them..Till my next post

Cafe Hopping

Exploring Arab Street with the friends looking for a place to just chill, catch up and enjoy a good hearty afternoon break.  We came across to a cafe called Working Title & popped in to see what the place had to offer. The place had a slight retro chic touch, pretty cosy & the seating space stretches out through to the back end of the café's courtyard. We ordered  a few of their best selling dessert and coffee, before venturing off to Haji lane to snap some pictures with the beautiful graffiti.

Washi Tapes

April 07, 2014 2 Comments

Hey Dolls,
I hope you had an amazing weekend, mine was spent on giving my entire house a good spring clean up. It was super tiring, but it does feel good to see the house looking pretty neat and tidy with less rubbish. Anyway back to today's post, as much as I love doing scrap booking and making cards during my free time, I also like collecting washi tapes. For those of you who are new to washi tapes, these tapes are originally from Japan and they come in very pretty designs and are really useful when scrap booking.  I usually buy my tapes from Daiso and Urbanwrite, but recently I found a website https://www.etsy.com that sells really beautiful tapes at a affordable price too. I'm hoping to get a few of the washi tapes from the website soon to add into my collection. Here is my current collection of washi tapes and two of my recent purchases from Daiso.
Till then..

Thanks for reading
