Valentine's Day Heart Nails

Painting your nails in a same colour would be the easiest thing to pull off at any day of the year, but why not jazz up your nails with a little bit of love this Valentine's Day and I have an easy tutorial just for you. To achieve the design you will only need the following:

❤ Two nail colours of your choice

❤ A dotting tool

❤ Top coat

Last get started:

1) Paint your nails with the desired colour chosen. I'm using (Lady in Red by Rubi) as my base colour.

2) Once the polish is dry, dip the dotting tool into the second colour (Baby Mint by The Face Shop) & create three small dots in the shape of a 'V'.

3) Fill in the 'V' which will then form the shape of a heart.

4) Lastly secure the design with a top coat.

Weekend Nail Art Tutorial - Polka Dot

Hey Dolls,
I know I'm suppose to blog about my weekend nail art tutorial last week but I was a little under the weather and wasn't able to, so as promised here it goes. Anyway this design I'm gonna show you, isn't something I created out of the bloom but it's actually from MissJenFABULOUS who is a beauty guru on youtube and she does the most amazing nail art designs that are super cute and easy to achieve. So lets get started:

What you'll need:
❤ 7 nail polish colours of your choice
❤ A dotting tool
❤ A top coat

Steps:

Out of the 7 nail polish colours you have chosen, select 1 and start off by painting a base colour of your choice, I chose Baby Blue from Michelle.
Next taking a dotting tool,dip into the colour you wanna start off and randomly place the dots on your nails. Once that's done continue with another colour and so for. Note: this design concentrates mostly on the cuticle area of your nails so the dots should be evenly placed.
Lastly finish off with a top coat to seal in your design.

Weekend Nail Art - Cloud Design

Hey Dolls,

Just wanted to share with you girls my nail art design for this weekend. The design is an inspiration of the clouds.. I first saw this design on youtube and then I saw lots of pictures of the beautiful design and I thought I should give this a try since lots of girls are doing so. The best part is, its so cute, super easy and fast to do. So why WAIT & lets get started :)

What you'll need :

❤ A top & base coat

❤ A blue nail polish (solid or sky colour)

❤ A white nail polish

❤ A dotting tool or a bobby pin

❤ A fine nail art brush

Steps:

Start off by painting your nails with a base coat to protect your natural nails.
Then paint your nails with a sky or solid blue.
Next taking your dotting tool, dip into the white nail polish create 3-5 dots beside each other to form the cloud shape. (See picture below)
Finish off with a top coat and there your very own cloud nail art. But if you feel that it's kinda a simple and wanna give the design a little jazz up, then continue to follow step 5 onwards (below).

5. Now that I have my clouds design all done, I like to add a heart shape and a rainbow to the design. So now take your dotting again, create two small dots next to each other.

6. Then using the nail art brush draw a C or a V shape on both sides of the dots created. This gives an outline on how the shape will form.

7. Finally fill in using a dotting tool. And apply a top coat to protect the design.

8. Lastly to create a rainbow, use a nail art brush and create fine lines across the clouds. (see picture below)

Weekend Nail Art - Blouse Design

Hey Dolls,

I know I haven't been consistently blogging about my weekend nail art tutorials and that's because, I really didn't had the time to paint my nails nor to do any nail art tutorials for you girls :( but as promised I do have a brand new nail art tutorial to share with you today, and am super excited about it :). I really think that this design is super cute and so feminine to wear and its also very easy to do, all you have to do is follow my step - by- step guide along with the pictures I have taken while doing the design.. So lets get started...

What you'll need:
♥ A Dotting tool
♥ A Fine nail art brush
♥ A Top & Base Coat
♥ Nail polishes of your choice

Steps:

Start off by applying a base coat to protect your natural nails.
Then taking a reinforcement ring sticker, paste it on to your nails as this helps to create a half look. (see pic below)

3. Next paint your nails with a base colour that you have chosen and remove the sticker when the nails polish dries. I'm use a brown colour from Key Fashion.

4. Taking a different colour nail polish and a nail art brush, start drawing the collar. Begin by drawing an outline of the shape.

5. Fill in both sides of the collar by using a doting tool.

6. Create some dots below the collar to give it the blouse look.

7. Lastly to give it a slight shimmer look, draw a strip using glittered polish just above the collar and finish off the design with a top coat. Enjoy :)

Braided Nails

Hey dolls,

I have been really busy with lots of things and I'm sorry if I did keep many waiting for this tutorial. So anyway, last weekend I decided to try something way different from my usual nail designs. I was on youtube trying to get some inspiring nail art designs when I came across MissJenFABULOUS youtube channel where she did a tutorial on the braided nails. Yup braided nails, which I found it super cute to wear for the summer and decided to give it a try. Lets get started :) check out the pictures below to provide you as a guide along with the steps.

You'll need:

♥ 3 contrasting nail polishes - Metallic, Neon and a Pearl Essence

♥ A base coat

♥ A top coat

Steps:

Using a base coat, paint your nails to protect your natural nails.
Then paint your nails, two thin coats of the metallic colour. I'm using purple from The Face Shop.
Next slowly route your finger, to create a think strip of the pearl essence colour. In my case I'm bright pink from Michelle.
Once that's done, cross a strip of the neon colour over the pearl essence. I'm using bright green from Michelle.
Now create a metallic strip directly below the neon colour.
Next cross a strip of the pearl essence colour, across the metallic and continue the crossing using the neon one more time.
Lastly finish off with a top coat to seal in your design.

all finished

you may also wanna try it with different colours.

Button Nail Art

Hey Dolls,

I know I was suppose to post this out on Monday first thing but due the Internet connection not working properly I just couldn't.. For the weekend I did the usual french manicure with a slight twist. I thought this design is simply fun to have on for the summer. (But summer looks more like winter back here) :( Anyway let's not go on about that but like always I'll list out the steps and post the pictures as a guide, so you too can achieve your very own button nail art. So to get things started, all you need is :

♥ Base Coat & Top Coat

♥ Nail Polishes

♥ Doting Tool

♥ Tool pick

Steps:

Start off by applying a base coat to protect your natural nails.
Create a wide French tip using the colour of your choice. In my case, I used purple from Michelle.
Next using a tooth pick, create a jagged edge to the french tip. This is to give an effect of a frayed or jagged fabric edge.
Now using a white nail pen, create a dotted line for the effect of stitching.
Once that's done, use a dotting tool create an even circle on the tip in green.
Create four small button dots in black.
Lastly create some cotton threads in white and finish off with a top coat that helps for a lasting design.

Weekend Nail Art

Hey Dolls,

I know i haven't been doing my weekly nail art posts that i said i would do :( since the weekend starts tomorrow, i thought I'll share with you girls what nail art design I'll have on my nails for the weekend :)
Basically, this design isn't my own, i was inspired by a YouTube video i watched and i was interested to give it a go. I have to say it's really easy to do and you need is :

♥ A dotting tool

♥ 6 Nail polish colours of your choice

Steps: (See pictures below)

1.Start of by painting your nails with a base coat to protect your natural nails.

2.Then paint the nail with the colour of your choice, I painted my nails purple.

3.Next taking the dotting, create 6 small dots to form a small circle using White nail polish.

4.Once you have done that, create 7 small dots using Yellow nail polish next to the white dots.

5.Repeat step 4 but this time using Green nail polish and Dark Blue nail polish.

6.Once it's all done, place a small dot using Red Nail Polish in between the white circles that you have created at the beginning.

7. Paint off with a top coat.

Final Look :)

Peacock Inspired Nail Art

Hey Dolls,

For the weekend i did my long awaited and requested nail tutorial - Peacock Nail Art. Since i finally bought the required nail colours for it, i thought i should give it a go, and the photos below are all done on my my first try and must say that i did get pretty good compliments on my Facebook page :)

Product Used

♥ Turquoise nail polish by Nail LACQUER
♥ Gold nail polish by Constance Carroll - Sandcastle
♥ Blue nail polish by Aisai
♥ Dark Blue nail polish by The Face Shop
♥Dotting Tool
♥ Toothpick

Steps:

Apply a base coat to help protect your natural nails.

Start off by painting your nails a solid turquoise colour.

Then using your dotting tool, take some Gold colour to create some large circles.

Next go in with the Blue polish and create small circles.

The final circles will be smaller Dark Blue ones on top of the Blue circles.

And the last step is to take a toothpick with the turquoise nail polish and create a small line at the bottom of the dark blue circles.

Finally add a top coat to protect your design & that's it :)
